Ruby red with purple tendency and of medium consistency. Pleasant fruity notes reminiscent of small berries, ripe cherry and a slight hint of violet. Valid intensity and persistence. Tastes punctual in flavour and throughout the body structure. The right alcohol content and soft tannins make it pleasantly appreciable in balance. Paired well with pasta with tomato and meat sauce. Excellent with Bolognese lasagna and timbales of macaroni. Perfect on sheep and pork meats (Porchetta and shanks) and on veal stews.
